„Mobile Dialysis“ is a movable hemodialysis device. It has to be worn througout the whole day. Therefore it must be comfortable, intuitive to use and easy to clean. The plastic cassette makes it easy to change all the tubes in one step and a flap let’s the patient change the dialyser on the go.
This project included an extensive research phase: interviewing dialysis patients, online questionnaires, user journeys and literature reserach. The goal was to understand and address problems and everyday wishes of dialysis patients and design a tool that give a little more freedom while also trying to be as stylish as possible.
